@littlefeller sounds good. but you will need to set a date that does not clash with much in the calendar.. Which is growing.. So sooner rather than later.
ok folks, dates - for Sundays are as follows 3rd April or 10th of April as the 17th and the 24th are already taken, unless we do a Saturday. now the 3rd might be wet as it is now so the 10th seems like a better gamble. Thoughts please

Stroke of luck then as we are in Lichfield that weekend so can do the run on our way back home

If I can do it without having to stay over in a hotel then it's more likely we can make it.
It looks a lovely area as seen through your photos mainly and I enjoy the more driving focused cruses so I imagine it will be a long day for us with driving there,doing the cruse and driving back home in a day.
How long did it take you to get to Rutland last week ?

this is why we need to think about either a longish cruise or a short village run, after driving all the way there and a return home trip looming a long cruise may put people off. but if the majority want a long one theirs plenty to do if you dont go on thr cruise
its around 80 miles for you, about an hour and 30-40 min.
A longer cruse makes it worth the traveling there......just my opinion

as a lot of attendees will be fairly local (within 40 miles) a longer cruise is the most popular option at the moment.
