Yes bog standard, but then the hill is very deseeving, by the time you realise your on a hill (you dont see it) your already a third of the way up, then it just gets progressively steeper, so if your in the wrong gear you are never going to get it right (its a loosing battle) by the time you realise this it is already too late, you cant recover no matter how much oooph you have
My poor 1.9 :-( which lacking in power in the first place

We'll be leaving late morning today. Heading up Atlantic Highway to Barnstaple then down North Devon link road and pick up the M5 at Jtn 27. We're staying at Beckford Inn, only a few miles from the start point.

This is my first real run out of the year and we're really looking forward to it.

@Low Rider , if the offer still stands i need to ride shotgun, passed the emissions test after the 3rd attempt, but now it has desided to break a front spring in sympathy for the broken rear:mad: so still no mot:mad::mad::mad: stupid springs. does anyone going on the cruise have a spare sitting around they want o sell? save me looking for one.

he is actually quite flexible, emissions test x3 not bad, he was determined to pass this part., but unfortunately its just too dangerous to drive with broken springs:( it just goes to show - the first guy didnt find any broken springs, the second found the rear while this local chap (who i should have gone too first but was easier to take it to an mot station where i work) couldn't see the rear but spotted the front, both are broken at the last coil, only a couple of inches off both but broken all the same.

i have to admit, the rear one is very difficult to spot.
