How I bought it. Looked great. Rotten to bits underneath.

I'm strictly factory now. If it was built with M badges it keeps M badges :) I don't go around counting them up but I reckon they've all got at least 2 - gear knob and steering wheel.
 
Maybe I should rename the thread to, "what previous cars have you owned"

No. It was that classic 1970s Ford colour - Daytona Yellow. It also had black vinyl seats that got hotter than the surface of the sun on a bright day. We all love old cars, but modern stuff with cloth upholstery and air conditioning is a lot easier to live with in the summer.....
