That’s due to shrinkage over the years and the roof not being treated/sealed.The outer fabric around the rear window is comming away in several areas - see photo. Do you guys have any recommendatios of a suitable glue to use. Any other suggestions on how to frepair the damage are welcome.
Thanks in advance./Hans

I had the same issue. I used a small bottle of contact cement, with the built-in brush on the cap. Tape around the window (to protect against drips), and then brush on both sides (under the fabric and the rubber). LET THE CEMENT DRY on each surface for 15 minutes . . and then just press to two surfaces together using your finger. Instant Bond!!The outer fabric around the rear window is comming away in several areas - see photo. Do you guys have any recommendatios of a suitable glue to use. Any other suggestions on how to frepair the damage are welcome.

What sort of treatment is needed to prevent this? This is my first convertible, so all this is new to me...That’s due to shrinkage over the years and the roof not being treated/sealed.
Not sure how it can be repaired but if it can be, someone on here will know.
