Control Arm Mounts?

Bit of a technical question here (or not depending on who you are!)

The previous owner I bought my car off has given me a pair of wishbone control arms he had ordered to replace the ones on the car. They had also replaced the front anti roll bar link rod bushes and front lower wishbone rear bushes with Powerflex ones, so these are new. It has also had new Lemforder tie end rods.

I took my car to the garage earlier today to reattach a low hanging splash guard, and also to have a look at the control arms and quote me for replacing them. The garage said if I get a pair of "control arm mounts", then when they fit the new control arms, putting new control arm mounts on it will mean that everything is then new. He said I can get them from Powerflex.

I have googled, searched the forum, looked on the Powerflex website, but can't figure out what a control arm mount is. Can anybody shed any light on what he might be referring to? Image of control arm from earlier attached if it helps illustrate what the mount is. If it's that part at the bend in the wishbone, what can I search to find it? And where can I buy it?

He might have been talking about the control arm bushings, they are found at the base of the control arms and attach the arms to the body at the rear of the arm. In your picture that is the purple donut that the control arm end is attached to.
Those donuts don't look stock to me and are most likely already upgraded by the Previous Owner.
Short of my explanation ask the PO or the shop owner.

Yes, just spoke to the garage with the above photo. The mount he's referring to is the one that attaches that purple donut to the chassis. The purple donut is a Powerflex Poly bush the previous owner changed. All sorted now!

Ummm the mount wont need changing, there's nothing to wear out on it its only the carrier for the bush, the only part that can wear is the bush inside and if thats worn and it is a powerflex one that would be odd as they are guaranteed for life.
