Confused!

Seen various posts and read various reports regards the new rules regards Number Plates with conflicting statements?

I have 3d reflective plates on both my cars and have been on since 2019.

Are these still legal or do i need to fork out for 2 new sets?

From what I understand Paul those plates are now illegal.

I find most of it depends on the tester. My Mondeo has had plates with a Ford logo, a coloured border, and a slogan on the bottom for the last five years and I've never had an issue. I think as long as you don't take the mickey with typeface or spacing, most garages seem OK. Or just get a cheap set of 100% legal ones to use for mot time or in case you get stopped.

That's the bit i read that made me think mine were good. then i read from March 22 they weren't.
