Sorry reading your post yesterday on the coach I missed the soprano bit=)) I only try that with tight underwear and high heels on HaHa. I was a very long day which went very well and I hope that we beat what we raised last year £11,000 and as suggested by BMBabe I have email the organiser to see how folks can donate to the event and not to Cancer research direct, as soon as I know I will post up for those that may wish to donate.
Thanks Geoff

Hi Graham
Thanks for your support and so sorry to hear of your loss. Its also a charity close to my heart as I lost my Mum to cancer back in 1960 when I had just left school at 15 and took over the running of my dads house as he could not do that sort of thing and I was working in an office,

Well done mate  any links to post up for people here to donate
Sorry for the delay in posting up the info but been waiting for the organisor David Pitts to advise the best way to donate to our fund for those wishing to. Please send your donation by cheque made out to Cancer research UK, send to Orchestra Pitts, Rose Cottage, Wooton Courtenay, Minehead, TA24 8RD and indicate that it is from a BMW Z3 Forum member.
Our aim to to pass last years total after expenses of £11,000 and I will let you know when all is in in a few weeks time.
David Pitts the organiser thanks you in advance for any donation as every little helps.
For those interested 8 hours rehearsing/singing less refreshement breaks was somewhat tiring but well worth it producing a good sound.to perform Vivaldis Gloria, Non Nobis Domine by Doyle, 633 Squadren by Goodwin, Panis Angelicus by Franck, Miss Saigon selection by Boubit/Schonberg, New World Symphony by Dvorak, Hymn to the Fallen by Williams, Summer Nights by Jacobs/Casey, The Heavens are Telling by Haydn, Jesu Joy by Bach, Pirates of the caribbean by Badelt, Cwm Rhondda by Hughes?Williams all the audience (1000) joined in, what a sound, Gabriels Oboe by Moricone, Wimerway audience joined in and with lights out waved glow sticks, March from Aida by Verdi and to end The Hallelujah Chorus
Thanks to those that have show an interest so far and to any others of you that may wish to join in, THANKS Geoff

The cheque, as they say, is in the post :)

Thanks Graham that is very nice of you and very much appreciated, take care Geoff

Ladies & Gents your donations are very greatfully received and they realise that sending cheques for some is not the way that they do things so I have been given an account that you can make money transfers to direct which is The Orchestra Pitts account 75101165 60 23 06
Thank You whether large or small, donations every little counts.
The aim is to beat last years total sent of £11,000 which could be on the cards, I will report back and give the amount when I am given the total which will be in afew weeks after all bills paid and income is know from videos and CD sales. Thank you All Geoff
