A similar group is being arranged in our local village, as there was a couple of years ago in the next village (it didn’t last long). Anyone else got it happening near them, or part of such a group?

Hmmmm. Look, I get it, I live in a rural village. I dont like reckless speeding on the main through road.

But Policing that is a job for . . . The Police. Getting Traffic Enforcement on the cheap by utilising volunteers usurpping an authority they dont have - I'm not a fan . . .

Absolutely Alex and that was my response when asked to take part. One of the guys I play pool with took part in the scheme in Torksey village but he was soon disillusioned with it. Also you'll find that it will only (most likely) be out there on dry sunny days not when it's peeing down. Much like the "real" thing, hence the use of cameras. Anything to slow down bikes past our place would be appreciated in all honesty, but this won't work.
