Was reading through your thread what head unit currently fitted ?

If its the original Bmw business dont be chucking it if working with good display they are worth money

That last one? Other coast, Dundee. There's Asdas like this all up and down the country.

Pleased your home safely with your new Z3. Car looks great and I am sure you will enjoy some fantastic runs in and around Angus and Perthshire. I bought my Z3 last year and have enjoyed doing various preventative maintenance on it over the winter months. Enjoy the Z3.
 
looks fab, and your having fun, and thats what its all about, you are very lucky having the hard to too, thats a grands worth of extra, i love that wheel combo, personally i wouldnt change it,
the 2.8 is far better than the 3.0, the twin vanos repair is a cost you dont need later in ownership.
the z3 has the best look of all the 2 seaters imho, its not as focused as the mx5, but the z3 looks class

So as far as I'm aware it's got the TUB engine so double vanos?
 
The 2.8TU is practically identical to the 3.0. Overhauling the double vanos if required is well documented and not anything to be afraid of.
