is there a cold air intake and heat shield for the z3 i know there are ones for the e36 i think just wondering if there are any that you may recommend. Thanks.

They are not easy to find and tend to be relatively expensive if not simply putting a cone filter on the end of the MAF.

BDS Motorsport does their own custom cone filter on an intake pipe that gets buried down towards the foglight.

Simota do a carbon air intake but no longer make them and also quite rare.

What about the K&N one i have the 2.0 z3 it says it fits the 2.0, would that be a good option only thing is it doesn't come with a heat shield.

I have no experience of using it.

Keeping heat away is key. Wooshy sounds are great but not at the expense of warm air being fed into the engine.

Perhaps look at some 3D printed air intake scoops that replace the passenger side figlight to ensure some cool air finds its way to the cone filter.

Perhaps you could make your own heat surround or utilise one from a different car?

yes i was looking to see if there were separately sold heatshields that would fit and be suitable.
