Hi all thinking of buying an engine code reader what do you guys use. Needs to do Si ABS Airbag lights as and when needed look forward to your comments and advice many thanks

There are various handheld units around but the Peak tools get the best feedback and are specific to BMW's whereas a lot are generic types and might not read all codes. If you prefer something a little more powerful then a cable you can plug into a laptop is what you need, this one is just about the best one you can get and comes with loads of software at a decent price of £38 which you can't go wrong at IMHO.

Yes and much more. Don't forget to get the full cable package though as you need the round bmw connector not just the obd one.
