Write Up Clumber 2018

Good show, just very disappointed with having to go up a dirt road to a show ground. Waste of timing cleaning the car and dread to think what damage has been done to the paintwork when wiping the dirt of when we arrived.

Great photos from everyone and we enjoyed the day. Glad we left when we did as we were straight out, and not having to go through the crazy the queuing.

The Morris Minor wasn't a bad car in it's day. It was developed and first manufactured in the forties, but to simply re-body it and call it the Marina in the seventies ! Well hello, other companies had actually made some progress in thirty years .

:scorecard: Thank you for posting photos and sharing your day , great photos :coolsteer)

Bad management was a major factor in the demise of our manufacturing industries along with cheap labour costs abroad.

The main issue in the 60s and 70s was trade unions that were arrogant and overly powerful. Lady Thatcher sorted them in the 80s, my hero!:)
