Any good points on cleaning MAF sensor please

Only one. Don’t bother. Just replace it with an OEM brand. Don’t waste money on cheap aftermarket items.

The only thing that happened when I cleaned a maf is that it stopped working.now I replace them. Oem or GENUINE bosch purchased from bosch. There are lots of fake bosch products online.

If you must clean CRC make a cleaning spray.

GSF and euro car parts showing oem ones 130ish quid
Does this seem about right?

Seems about the right price to me. We used to source from either of those at work.

No, it came from Bosch but after a couple of months the steel filter by the spout went rusty. We sent it back and the replacement has been fine now for almost a year. My point is that even companies like Bosch use 3rd party suppliers for parts and these might be using sub standard parts. Unfortunately we now live in a world where even products made by top brands are made in China with no control over quality or cheap parts being used.

Ahh I see. Having bought a few fake products on ebay I thought the disease might have spread to kettles

cleaned maf with maf cleaner, car has a nicer idle and seems to pull better (stood in garage only though) so until i can get it on the road, im thinking maf cleaner has done its job.. so far.

Cleaner killed my Maf OEM replacement solved it plug and play.
