Greygate plastic polish is good.
Brasso does it a treat
I purchased some Renovo Plastic Window Polish, I haven't used it yet, but will update once used. Its quite Expensive and you only get 50ml sized bottle.
Which ever product you use (I used Greygate plastic polish on my Z3, don't need it on a modern Z4) a helper using a piece of wood wrapped in a towel held against the other side of the "window" will help get a good finish.

Does this apply to getting rid of "general" misting of the rear screen?? Or does have to be new screen and / or hood?
Yes Graygate plastic polish will make the window clear again. As mentioned it is easier with a helper.

Meguiar's Plast rx is also a decent product to use on rear window decent on zed headlights as well.

I tried Meguiar's PlastX this weekend. My Z3 rear window was so fogged that you could barely make out shapes. I was ready to buy a new rear window and my son recommended the Meguiar's. I applied it on the exterior with no change. Went to the inside and the transformation was miraculous.
