This is different Gaz, this time it's alleged he's had a fall out with someone from the beeb, this hasn't happened before. Maybe this will move the show to another, better paying platform. We will see if the midget and May will put up or shut up?

He's an complete arrogant b*****d and a total t**t. I say this as someone from the same home town as him who normally defends their own.

Not too long ago he was checking into hotel managed by my daughter. He very angrily refused to give his home address for the check-in registration. There was no need for this and he was simply difficult for no good reason.

He also thinks he's bigger than the program, I personally hope it's proven that he's not.

I know a guy who has worked on the Top Gear and he said Clarkson is a D**k , but surprising to me that

Hammond is an arrogant little Sh*t , and May is the only descent chap out of them.

The show has been needing a full make over for some time now, it has been running the same old format for years

you can predict what the so called jokes will be.

The reason people watch top gear is Clarkson, he is the brand, like wossy before him he will take the show to another channel, I bet he's in negotiation already...

The fact that the beeb have cancelled the show for the next few weeks supports this theory, the other two could have presented the show, kept the audience happy, played the films already in the can etc. By doing this, this would have confirmed to Clarkson that they will run the show without him and he is dispensable. Rumour is he aimed a punch at a producer!

I think ultimately Employment Law should be used in this case.

If (and right now nothing is proven) he is found to have thrown a punch at a BBC producer, that is an act of Gross Misconduct and should not be tolerated in any organisation or walk of life.

I gather 200,000 have asked for the BBC to re-instate him. Does that suggest these people are happy to have a punch throw at them at work? Should this be tolerated?

I've not seen anything about who the producer is but what if this is a woman? We're supposed to live in an equal rights society but would that possibly change peoples opinions?

If it turns out there's no case to answer, then fine - re-instate him.

It is more likely to be Contract Law.....presenters are usually under contract and are not actually employees of the Beeb.

Either way....if he did it he should be dumped, if he didn't he shouldn't!
