I'm with Peter James at £370 on a classic policy

I left them because they got so expensive

Ok I'll admit I'm young, 26, but I was literally quoted double aswell as being told no ha ha ha

Insurers are all rip off merchants to be fair and this is just another case of that, they all scream LOOK HOW CHEAP WE ARE and yet the more they say it the more expensive they seem to be. Insurance shouldn't be a privatised market its unfair to the consumer and should be legislated.

I have contacted adrian flux twice this morning
They dont do a classic policy for this type of car
I said how come, somebody has said they have, we dont do one!

I have also tried Adrian Flux and they are very expensive too, like chris knott.

I would like to know how they make their decisions - If you compare me to Z3Cade (sorry Liam) for the 1.9 - how can they insure a modified //M for far less than a 2.8 or the 1.9 ??? When i asked my insurance company, they did say engine size doesnt matter which i would have thought it would but obviously not.

It could be to do with car age Boysie.. Mines 14yrs.. Think they said its 14-15yrs was the minimum starting age for the company I'm insured with.. Remember Adrian flux are just brokers...
