Cheap Z3 M on ebay. Now only £10,000 ???

To which my response was fair play mate, at least you have a sense of humour

Money talks .............................

Tony.

I don't know whether to break the news that a banker or footballer would t buy a Z3 #bentley #rrsport

I have a spare model MC that is available for £20K, first come first served!

I've resisted replying to this as to be honest I'm a bit surprised at the stress this guy is causing and knew I'd be posting against the flow of things.

I've been collecting and dealing in collectable Scalextric cars for over 25 years and frequently see this sort of thing. People asking unlikely money and people asking way too much money - usually because they know nothing about the model and are being chancers.

Then there are people asking astronomical sums like this as they have other motives like appearing at the top of sort order by price, generally looking for attention or in this guy's case because it's a form of entertainment - I'm afraid he's reeling you all in big time.

He knows what he's doing is a wheeze and he's probably splitting his sides at the reaction from us lot.

Someone is just as likely to create a dummy ebay account, bid it, string him along and then not pay.

I'm not having a pop at people's reactions on here but I don't like to see my chums getting wound up :)

And talking of Scalextric I have a number of different livery Z4s available at the moment. I might well put these up as a For Sale but just in case I can tempt anyone away into a more meaningful model discussion :)

Certainly C3720 and C3721 from this page. £35 with postage:

I also think I have some of these left (C3625) which is already getting quite collectable. £40 with postage:

They are as stunning and well made as they look and of course you don't need to be a Scalextric collector, racer or enthusiast to appreciate them :)

I can also source slot car Z3s on request. They are Cartrix not Scalextric but are just as well made. It's just they're 10+ years old so belong to a different generation of (lower) detail. Lots of different colours/liveries available. I bring them back when I visit Madrid twice a year. Next trip end of March. They come out anywhere between £25 for a used unboxed car to £40 for a new/boxed one with UK postage. Being an obsolete model they can be tricky to locate but always happy to have a go.
