your posting some controversial stuff today :) maybe as the z3m hits the peak prices it has , then the next ones down in the range with low milage are going to be sort after ??? so price might only get higher for "collectable" ones
 
It sure does look nice though but still that's a shed load of cash

is it though if its showroom like ?, what 6 cyl small roadster can you buy for 12,000 nowadays that with light use wont even depreciate and maybe increase in value ? depends as a buyer what you want ? a) get one with 50,000 on that you use a lot and hence depreciate as any car does or b) get one with 20,000 that you do 1000 miles a year in chance are b) will be worth more than you paid for it after a couple of years.

Probably right the prices are all over the place. It looks a fantastic car but my issues are a low mileage car doesn't mean you won't still need to spend loads on it. I looked at a 26k M last year and it was a heap, mileage was verified but everything was original and needed replacing such as calipers, pads, bushes shocks etc, the vanos was toast the list went on but it was a genuine 26k car. I would rather a higher mileage car that had been loved, used and maintained and kept up to date and road worthy. Low mileage does not mean a show room car IMO. (though this car may have been but it may all be original and they deteriorate stood still over time.
 
No doubt it will be the best 2.2 out there, it seems that everyone with inflated prices state that, until they have some exposure to forums such as these that they realise it is just an ordinary Z with low miles ;)
 
Thought only 2.8 pre facelift was wide body?

No mate, all facelift cars have a wider stance albeit only very slightly less than the original 2.8. Only a few mm difference.
