The present Company i am working for are going through a rough patch and my job is no longer safe. So i got contacted by another Company and offered a job which is actually 2k more per annum, i put my notice in on Saturday and my present Company has put me on Garden Leave till the 12th of August, so win win win.
I am now fighting with her indoors as i want to use my new found time to Detail the Z4 and to take the seats out and refurb them but all Kim wants to do is take the Z4 to work (i dont know why) i even offered for me to take her to work in it and then have time to do some works.

question is - did she use the zed for work before you were on garden leave, if so then i suppose your screwed, if however you used the zed for work then the fact it is sat at home now is grounds for the detailing to go ahead:D
 
No she uses it as i have a company car.

Mean time you can make plans how many extra miles you can have next vacation, with the bonus from the new job!

I left the military last year in September and got paid till December. It's fantastic. Shame I didn't have the Zed then.
Watch out when you go back to work it's a killer haha

Congratulations on your new job. Solution - Kim drives to work with you as passenger - you drive car back home. You pick up Kim from work - Kim drives car back - takes the worry out of possible dings in work car park - sorted (stand well back when you suggest this)!

The answer to your problem is to buy yourself another Zed and detail that, then everybody is a winner! =))
 
She used it yesterday which is the first time since before we went to Holland with the rest off here and a bonus she never noticed it sounds different due to the Exhaust so i might not even tell her now :whistle:

Dont need the Public Transport as she uses the X3 but prefers to drive the Z4. Also you would never get kim on public transport
 
I've got an idea, let Kim take your Zed to work & you can detail my Zed:whistle:

Tell her "THE PARTY'S OVER". While this might initially sound shocking to her that you said this, explain that you'll have to go back to driving it since you no longer have a company car. Before the shock of that statement can set in, tell her that the switch was necessary for job and family security but the up side is that with the increased income and some of her help you think she should spend her breaks and some of her lunch time looking around for a Z for herself. This would have to intrigue her and set her imagination off thinking about just what kind and color of Z she could be driving for her very own. Since she already loves driving yours, this would have to fire her imagination and get her searching the internet. This could really be a win, win situation since you would probably soon absorb the increased cost, you'd have your Z back, she would have a Z of her own, she could join the forum in her own right and you each could be going on the cruises in your own cars. I'm hoping you don't mind her driving all over town in her pretty little Z. Good luck with whatever solution you find. Frankie

PS. I just hope she doesn't find a Z that you like better that yours. Hmmmmmmm.
