Hello everyone,
Not sure what I'm doing on here. eBay and a bottle of red and I'm the proud owner of a 'spares or repair' 2.5i not moved for almost 2 years.
Looks good, sounds ok and decent spec but electrical gremlins following a jump start.
Still waiting to get a good luck, it was trailered to home but we're enjoying the sun in Benidorm till Tuesday. Obviously roof needs attention but should be fun when it's done. I'll keep you posted and will be looking for advise as things progress.

Hope you have fun with it mate, the Z4 can be a bit odd when stood for a while with a flat battery. Can go into "delivery mode" which is easy to sort with a decent code reader.

Hello everyone, thanks for your very warm welcome and offers of advice.
To date:
It was delivered as promised but looked a little sad before the car wash.
Once clean it looks very smart with straight body panels, good paint, 4 new tyres on 108's (some attention needed) clean black leather and an excellent options list.
The local MOT station gave it a clean bill of health except for the electrical problems - only 245 miles since the last MOT 2 years ago.
Stuff working; headlights, fog lights, indicators, stop lights, central locking, air con, heated seats, interior lights, reversing light, heater panel lights, hazards, horn.
Not working; wipers, washers, windows, roof, radio, sat nav, indicator 'clicker', dashboard lights for mainbeam, indicators, front and rear fog lamps.
Other issue; Airbag light on, dash cluster lighting intermittent, usually comes on a few minutes after starting.
My initial thoughts are that it's a power issue rather than modules (new battery fitted fully charged) No fuses blown.
Where should I begin? Any problem earth points?
I need to sort it quickly, I'm desperate to drive it.........

I would get the codes read Tony. It could well be it has gone into delivery mode and simply need the code clearing. I had this on a Z4 just last year.

I've checked the obvious so will take your advice and find a local Indy with the right kit.
