Just been reading a walky talkie thread and someone mentioned CB radio's it got me thinking about my handles back in the day, I used to use 2, Cosmic Dancer and Electric Warrior (spot the link)
What did you used to use and what about the lingo,
Biscuit crunchers :D

I used one upto about 4 years ago, I worked on the tippers at the pit and the drivers and loading shovel drivers used to communicate through them, my handle was "Easylife". I also had it in my windscreen. My gaffer didn't like it, haven't a clue why! :D

I last used a cb when I was in my late teens my handle was Cocoon.
Went on the odd eyeball locally met some fun people:thumbsup:

We had them in the cars when we were 17/18 and we used to play cat and mouse round the village where we lived as kids. They were the days..........

Yeah it was me, today i don't use a handle but back in the day in my Chevette and my mates Mini and MG Midget I was known as Rebel.

Biggest embarrassment from AM CB radio "bleed through" for me and Shirl happened thus,...................

We had spent an evening in the local pub The Castle Inn down at the village drinking and playing pool with a fellow CB'er called Alwynn Good. Now the landlady at that time was a fierce old bugger and after we left Alwynn supped up and went out to his car, we were already parked up at home and we started talking to him (still sitting in his car - in the pub car park) about the evening. Now the subject of the old battleaxe in the pub came up and he was giving her both barrels, un beknown to him his side of the conversation was coming through LOUD and CLEAR over the jukebox system. Lucky for us ours wasn't. He was barred next time he went in.!! We merely got some very sideways glances when we went in. Those were the days.=))=))=))

I did Ian. Also after that I had a massive erection (as they we referred to) on the back wall of the house attached to my sideband rig. I could get pretty much anywhere if the skip was right. When Abigail came along it had to come down as on a windy night it used to howl and scared the crap out of her.:(:( End of my days chatting to American truckers.
