Some of you might remember that I was on hols at the end of last July. During that time, I had taken a drive up to Fort Ticonderoga. On the way back to where I was staying in Bolton Landing, I used US Highway 9. (Just like the US Highway (Route) 66 that you all know). Only this road travels along the western shore of Lake George (which UK king George was that named after?). Going back to Bolton Landing heading south, the mountains are on my right and the lake on my left. There are many of you that have posted some road video of the UK. Well, it came to me that perhaps some of you would like to see what rural up state New York looked like, just as if you were driving behind the wheel. The lake is sometimes visible on the left, and there is a mountain on the right most of the time. I just thought some of you might want to see what it feels like driving in the US. The last part is in Bolton Landing which is very small and caters mostly to summertime tourists. Nice and a bit quaint. It's just a taste of rural northeast America....Frankie
