The following pictures will upset some of you and I advise you to proceed with caution, this is not for the faint hearted.

And when I try to take her off this used to happen:

These pictures were taken a year ago when I first got my car. The cat wasn't mine but she certainly had some b**** climbing up onto my zed like that. Thankfully I moved back to my proper house shortly after. =))

I've encountered this problem in the last couple of weeks after having to leave my Z outside for a bit.

I'll be purchasing a car cover in the next few days.

Seen this discussed on many other forums, I think the outcome is you cannot stop the cats sleeping on our nice warm soft tops.

Last thing you want to do is scare it off when it's on your car, it'll dig it's claws in as it jumps off the roof and damage it.

Someone suggested tiger scent spray??

Many suggested killing the animal which didn't go down well and the thread was stopped.

@Tfp she was a delightful cat and she'd always run up to me whenever I was outside but the fact that she lounged on my zed irritated me, very slightly

Actually it irritated me a lot =))

I just came across the pictures today, it's no longer an issue but I found it amusing so i thought I'd share the pictures. :) here's one more

She didn't leave any scratches aside from one inside the car on the steering wheel, that's now been re-dyed too

The other day our Tom jumped in the Zed when the roof was down, he soon got out when the alarm went off!

Cute cat :)
We have two, they both love the soft top.
The Zed is covered up now and a piece of carpet is put on the roof so they can still go on but the soft top is protected.
Before Dave started covering it totally we often went on drives with paw prints on it, quite a nice addition i thought lol
but we now have to protect the new paint job, it's the law

The last photo is scary @Faheem :p
Glad I don't get a cat sit on my roof anymore ;)

Should have switched the wipers on full speed and give it a squirt of windscreen wash and judging by that last pic you'd get him right up his mousehole
