All cars should have a name and they should all be female, IMHOBeg to differ, I think it is a bit 'gay' to name your car......

The only car I ever owned that got a name, and it was named by the wife, was my big old black Merc coupe.
She hated it, would not drive it and called it "The Pimp Mobile"

If you want to name your car, I totally agree, its not like you want to say 'I am just going out for a (spelling) tootal in @GazHyde'......
I suppose it's a bit eccentric to name your car...seems on the whole the gender does tend to be female...maybe they get human names because we have to put our "trust" in them to an extent ?
My dad's favourite film is "Genervieve" and "Herbie" made a name for himself.
The wacky racers all had names for their cars too, I always think @hard top profile picture looks a bit like "Dick Dastardly" (no offence if it's you in the picture... Take it as a compliment) .
