Hi All

being a new z3 owner ( 1999 facelift 2.0) I am wanting to buy a cover for my car to protect it from the weather all year round when I am not using the car. It will be outside can anyone give me recommendations on which car cover to get and where from?

What colour is your car?

I used a cover for a car outside and during the winter, the cover left very fine scratches in the paint. I do live in an exposed part of the country, but even so, it was disappointing to have to get paint correction after using the cover...

We have a half cover and kept ours dry for the last 5 or 6 years

I have Halfords’ All-Seasons car cover. The XS size fits a Z3 perfectly (just the right amount of tension over door mirrors). It’s waterproof, breathable, non-marking and cheap (fifty quid).

I have a storm force cover and it's been great until now. It leaves the car covered in a layer of dust every time it's been on but it is now 5 years old.
So now I just use the half cover, same as @Brian4 .
