Can't get the Zed out!!

At least with foresight you checked its depth ! Many would have sailed through a zed would sit rather low in a ft of water!

Well it rained all night and I did have to go out in the Zed this morning, we had a bit of a flood on the road just by our drive by the time I got back:

:wideyed:. Where's the zed then Dave? Good job your drive runs up hill a bit! Jue would now officially be papping it! She don't do water where it shouldn't be.
She's back in the car port Dave. I popped down to the bodyshop for them to buff out a small mark on the boot lid and to realign the front bumper. It wasn't quite right only a few mm but I wanted it spot on, it's superb now:thumbsup:

@Grumpy & @jue1 and @Bazza - you might all recognise this bit of road, well you can't see the road but you get the idea;). I did drive, sorry paddle, the Zed through this:nailbiting:. It looks worse than it is it's only about 3" (75mm) deep.

I take it the drains are full of crud and need cleaning, if there are any?
No drains at this point Andy. If you look at the video you'll see a small stream on the right of the frame when the video starts. When we have a lot of rain there is too much water coming off the fields and it spills out onto the road just before our house, then goes back into the stream on the next bend.

Needs the Council to craft a small channel, and keep it clear. Fat chance though I suspect.

Agreed Andy, we're a small village of about 60 houses, pretty low priority on the Councils list I'm afraid:grumpy:

Well that's one way to wash your under carriage :meh::confused:
I would have been cringing as I drove through all that water....with new paint as well
Steve
Yes Steve, I went very, very, very sllllooooowwwwwlllllllly:nailbiting:. Paint was fine I was more concerned about the wheels. All good though it's only water at the end of the day.:D

It looks worse now than it did the other day @Mint :p
The roads around our way are terrible......... :)
It's been raining hard all day ;)

We've still got the floods as shown in the first pictures Shelly, the later pictures and the video are on the road outside our house.

It's been awful here :p
But we can't complain :)
This has been the worst day were had here for a long time :)

Oh eck Dave. Think I'd have left reggie tucked up mate. He doesn't do rain never mind floods!

It's only a car Dave, a bit of water won't hurt=)) as long as it doesn't get in the engine, the interior......

Look on the bright side, Dave, you could put your house up for Sale and move to a dryer road!

"River Side House For Sale with Mooring rights for one Zed."
