There was a majority of 1.2 million!! What the hell happened to democracy??
 
Oh, and by the way, a young remain woman on Jeremy Vine said today " I'm furious, the older generation have ruined my future, they have had their time, they haven't got long left" How dare she say people like me have no say. I don't know about her but I'm bloody furious at her statement.

Let's pack off all the yes voters to Scotland and let them have their independence!
 
It reads that the petition is set up new rules regarding a referendum not to invoke an old one.
Thats bolting the barn door after the horse has already bolted....o_O

Here's something interesting just looked at the petition now 414000 signatures then I noticed you can bring up a map of where the signature are area wise.
I was surprised as I expected Scotland to be the bulk of them but suprisingly this doesn't seem to be the case .

There's a lot of punters out there that thought this was a protest vote aka local and general elections. Some serious back peddling going on.
 
In other news the guy who started the petition was a "leave" campaigner who assumed they couldn't possibly win, so was preparing for the loss. =)) He is apparently quite angry that it's been hijacked in this way.

However, I guess he can be proud it's reached 3.2 million signatures. Wonder if he ever though it would be that popular.

It seems the main back peddling is all from the Brexit folk ---now denying what they said
Say the did not promise an extra £350,000,000 per week for NHS.
Say they not promise to kerb immigration.
and Boris complaining no-one had formulated a plan based on him winning.
petition now on 3,230,823 ---gone up to 3,231,324 while I type

No all of us want to leave! Faced with the threat of another referendum is not a prospect I am looking forward too.

Never bought into the £350 milion or the Imigration issue from the start. It was widely published that this was never the case, my reasons are differant and just for clarity nothing that UKIP said swayed my mind, just mere white noise. :)
