All. Need some advice.

Brought a set of fog lights only realise when I got home tonight that one appears to be blown.
My question is can it be fixed or is it beyond saving

Don’t think so, I’d take it back. I think it is a sealed unit you can change bulb and that’s it.

I would bet you can part the light same as a headlight by warming it up.
DO NOT clean any chromed surface you will rub the chrome off. Allow to dry naturally and reseal the light with clear silicone.
Alternatively, remove the bulb and dry with a hair sure set low and apply sealant around the outside of the case joint.

Tony.

It might not be the seal around the glass, it could well be the rear seal, take the back of and take a look to see if its damaged

Doesn’t look damaged but it’s certainly seen better days
OK as its alreadt wet you coukd remove the back and place the unit on a flat surface, put in just enough water to cover the inside of the glass and keep your eye on it, if the seal has gone you will see the water leak out, you can then seal that area with silicon

If it's a brand new unit I would say return it for a replacement as it's 'not fit for purpose'.

The fog lights come apart and you can strip them down, Take the back off and put it on a radiator for a few days, this will dry up the moisture.
