So do you do it ???

WITH SUMMER APPROACHING,

I am thinking of getting my trailer and all my gear ready for camping at Car Shows for the weekend is normally great fun,
  1. Do you do it ?
  2. Do you you like it ?
  3. Where do you do it ?
  4. Show us a photo of you use for that time ( Tent ! Caravan / camper set up! )
I camp at least once a year, this year as last was at the Gaydon Motor Museum,

Only camp out for Silvertone
Plenty of Alcohol makes up for lack of sleep and comfort, wouldn't miss it for the world as my wife can confirm as i will be away for her Birthday (Its costing me lots!)

Camping brings back happy memories when the kids were small - prefer hotels now though, less stuff in the boot!:thumbsup:
 
Someone made a gaming chair out of one, that was posted a couple of years ago.
 
Only problem is that you can't (or at least its not recommended to) fit a tow bar to a Z3.:(
 
I would say do it, great fun with like minded folk, just don't mention there's no one home while your away, I always say - leaving the other half at home while im on my jolly's, she isn't as she's with me but you never know who's reading posts on a public forum.
Sorry if it seems to put a downer on the topic, its not meant in that way.

abit like the mega rich footballer who got burgled after posting pics of his great holiday with his family on facebook, nicely advertising the fact he wasn't in.

its ok posting - im going to this even because it doesn't imply the house is unattended.

went camping last summer, it rained most days but still great fun.

Simply putting a phone number into google will direct someone to this forum if you have posted your tel number on a public post so they might then have a picture of the car you drive, the area you live in and whatever else you have chatted about.
