Agree with Casino Royal Tony, my favourite Bond film, always watch when it's on. Eva Green is brill!

So, what was you're worst disappointment in the choice of actor for your favourite book character?

For me, having read the Lee Child "Jack Reacher" books where the main man is much larger than life, and they have Tom Cruise playing a guy who in the books is built like a brick s*** house and fills a doorway. Casting FAIL in a big (or little) way.

I'm with Hard top on Band of Brothers...also Pretty Women (I know, I just can't help myself), Castaway, The 39 Steps (the Robert Donat version), Brief Encounter, Fury, Battle of Britain, The Italian Job, Dirty Harry......the list is endless

Love The Battle of Britain, Dambusters, Reach for the Sky, First of the Few.
 
It's Jaws for me. But I like Band of Brothers as well. And don't forget Unforgiven.

The Bourne films, The Unforgiven, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and finally 2 of my all time favourites True Grit and Rooster Cogburn

But I like reading mostly ;)
 
Shawshank Red seen a few times but my all time fav is The Green Mile, reackon its cos I spent my last 20yrs in prison service. Got it on DVD and when we had a clear out was the only one I just couldn't take to the boot sale, anything Eastwood I can watch over and over. Last film I watched that did it for me was American Sniper.
