Same here Steve, been constant drizzle all day but looking out on the lake I see the anglers have put their brollies down. Just in time for me and Shirl to go sight seeing!;)

What great photos :p
Looks like you all had a lovely day ;)
Thanks for sharing ;)

@handsomejackuk Alan thanks mate a great day out with @PHILIP BAXTER & @Low Rider and who knew those roads were on my doorstep! Nothing like local knowledge. The glider centre is a great place to stop for an hour or two, the staff are fantastic and really welcoming.
Great photo of Steve's Zed in the buttercups one for the 2018 calendar me thinks??

Some more of the same pics. But I'm not much of a photographer sorry, just a point and press with the phone sort of guy :)

It works a treat now mate
Good, just a test to see if I had it in me to get it off my camera, onto you tube and then onto the forum ...... it was a challenge o_O #technophobe :D

Sounds like you had a good time. Where is it as it can't be far from Worcester?

David
Not far from Abergavenny, Talgarth I think.

Sorry I missed out on this trip, looks like you had a good day. Always up to giving Al a hand in arranging another work permitting.

Just noticed this thread - the Piper Pawnee caught my attention as my father has had a few of these in the past. Very tough aircraft built initially for crop spraying - but now their main task in UK is glider tugs. Pawnee's do make a lovely noise!
