I've been laid up for a few weeks after surgery and neither of our cars are on the road Mr vanos called yesterday and did his magic on the M .Sarah had a last minute call to get her carpal tunnel syndrome operation yesterday so I had to leave him alone with it ,the difference is quite amazing some bodywork and were going to be all good for the summer. Just one doughnut just to check it out lol.

Some timbers I salvaged from an old railway bridge by the coast not sure what it is but it’s rock hard and covered with tar .its for vehicles our son and girlfriend have bought the house next door lol didn’t want them to get their feet wet :)

Third pic of the bridge Hugh, did you measure the width between your cars wheels as with no centre panel you’ll have to be pretty accurate with your steering to get over it.

RHA, Roy.

Measure don’t know the meaning of the word with my eyesight I can’t even see the tape .Just take a fast enough run at it .

Hope your feeling better Hugh. There isn't much you don't put your hand to mate. I keep looking at our kitchen which I need to board out before plastering. Never done it before so I just keep looking!

@Grumps , google ‘ dot and dab’ use 2 inch scrim tape on all the joints and job done !!!!!

Yeah I've had a look. Can I go straight onto old bathroom tiles after PVA?

Providing the tiles are well stuck to the wall you can plasterboard over them.
Not sure about PVA, but there are various products available to do this.
Possibly something like Gypbond, which creates a key on the tiles for the dot and dab plaster to stick to.

I forgot to tell you, our Gary was in your neck of the woods on Saturday Huw, he and a mate came to climb Snowden. His mate Adam is doing the Three Peaks soon so it was a bit of a training exercise.
