Build your own car park

Starting to think of the interior of our holiday lets,as its suposed to be a romantic getaway the wall between the shower room and bed room is all glass tile.the wood burner plinth will have some sections of the old mill wheel .Andmy daughter is off to Marrakech in Morroco to buy a bath on Thursday! Should be a little different lol

Yep, they took me along as well,.........and that pic was taken in the down stairs cinema when we did a full film all nighter and then the buggers left me there when I fell asleep.........:(

Exactly the sort of stuff I like @hard top ,I like to make it myself if I can and try to use our own wood,luckily I've been squirrelling wood away for the last 35 years.The oak stakes are some my grandfather split 90 odd years ago.The round beams are my pride and joy @Brian H ,I have 5 sections my daughters will have 2 each and my son gets the odd one.Unfortunately I don't think we will be open in October,I'm hoping that it will by Christmas.We do have some availability in the cabins though,special rates for couples.http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_...Dwr_Y_Felin_Log_Cabins-Carno_Powys_Wales.html :)
 
These people built every thing them selves, they built one really big place and one smaller one.

The swimming pool isn't even on the list yet,phew .Sarah calls me in for supper in th evening and that's when I usually finish doing stuff but you get an idea in your head and have to try it ......that's ok but not if you have a couple of drinks with your meal lol

I like that,it reminds me of a hotel we were in when we went to see Hells gate enduro in Italy in February .they had a massive open fire and a big pile of logs, too many Welsh guys and just a little to much beer .piled all the logs on, the competition was who could hold their bare arse next to the blazing inferno the longest?OMG The pain it lasted all night ,luckily the staff ran in with buckets of water before we did some serious damage .my god that water felt good on my arse.but it didn't half fill the room with smoke when they threw it on the fire.

I'm getting worried HT, this is the guy who wants to come to Torksey Lock and take hold of my nipple !!=)) They used to have a big open fire at the Swan up until a few years ago, now it's a back boiler set up. The cold icy night me and Shirl helped out after an accident a few miles up the road we warmed our selves in the pub by that same fire. Shame it had to go.:(

Car park update today:it's finally stopped raining enough to get some outside jobs done .the car park is actually behind this grassy mound and nicely hidden

.this is the first stone wall we built here.then we found a big Boulder and carried it to somewhere appropriate and tried to arrange it artistically .all with the help of the best dog in the world........and my family lol
 
Just had an update from ,our daughter in Marakesh re the copper bath ,it's looking good lol .were having a Welsh poem engraved on the side ,have to check the spelling . Those that can speak Welsh it's
