BTCC 2012 Thruxton

I managed to watch most of that race. Was it wrong to laugh when the recovery truck got stuck?

Interesting interviews with the drivers after the race was stopped because of the stuck truck. The drivers at the front (Plato etc) were on the pit radio saying the race should be stopped as its too rainy. The drivers near the back had the attitude of 'we are here to race, so lets get on with it'.

There didn't seem to be too much drama in the Porker GT3 race afterwards, but not sure if they weren't holding back.

I think the younguns in the Clio's will have had a dressing down from the Clerk of the Course as they got a bit over excited and decided to overtake each other around the ambulance that was on the track. Hamilton did his usual and binned it at the start of the race and then caos enthused.
