British Legion welfare workshop

Good day Thursday got the Z3 as doing another British legion welfare workshop and as it was
A lovely sunny morning was able to get the roof down.
Well what a buzz getting the wind in your hair that's if I had hair, but got really nice comments
About the Z3 and how nice it looked with the roof down.

I would like to know what the best stuff to clean hood on Z3 soft top.
Now I have had new rear window fitted cleaning the hood would make the car stand out more.

I saw Z3 this week I would call it the combat Z3 it was to something to behold, but if it's made the owner
Happy good on him.
Have seem many motors painted camouflage.

My daughter informed me that she been out doing driving lesson this week and told me that she had told her
Instructor that I had a Z3 he then told my daughter to ask me if I ever sell to let him know

After using a number of potions I've reverted to hot soapy water and an old sponge, comes up a treat.

Hi Jim in Canada.
You live a lovely country and glad to say I had a lovely trip they when I was forces was in Wrainwrigh for 6 week.
The Canada army personnel where a great lot,
I would say the best of British in a lovely country.
But didn't like the beer out there as found it hard to get a pint of the black stuff.

Hi Andy
I see a harrier jumb jet most weeks as I drive passed RAF Wittering a lot and do welfare workshops for British legion there.
Have lots friends there too, many have asked for a drive in Z3 up the runway.
Now they fly little puddles jumpers teaching youngsters how to fly what to be top guns.
I enjoy the bander with the lads

Thanks @Harold Shaun, yes Canada is a beautiful country to see from coast to coast!! I've just returned from visiting family in Cochrane, just west of Calgary. Wainwright is a great area to be posted to as many of my forces friends were there over the years. I wasn't in the forces myself but my wife worked on CFB Westwin for many years before we moved northeast to the St Georges area just east of Lake Winnipeg. Drop in any time, we don't have the mountains but several world class beaches and lots of hunting and fishing out the back door as we are part of the PreCambrian Shield that surrounds Hudson Bay!! Guinness is much easier to find now a days and is my preferred beer!! In fact off right now to our Legion for one?? lol. JIM

Only one, is it worth it Jim ?;)=))=))

Tony.

Hi Jim I'm pleased you like a pint of Guinness have one or two now and then.
Been busy but love taking the Z3 out even my little dog enjoys going out in the Z was funny
When put the roof down.
My wife and I did laugh as she looked around.
But I enjoy when I'm out in the Z3 but don't enjoy when boy racers over take me and then slow down tiring to get you to race getting a bit old for that now.
Just let the nutters get on with it been driving along time now and don't think public roads are race tracks.

Just got home from having a few Guinness at our local legion and will definitely be there tomorrow to hoist a few with my kid brother who has just moved back to Manitoba from BC permanently. Hope to get some Zed time as ittsupoosed to be a 20+c long weekend for us as we celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday. Take care and get the pooch out as often as possible, JIM
