Taking my Z3 on its first welfare workshop tomorrow for my branch of the Royal British Legion.
Should be a good way of breaking the ice as most of the lads are petrol heads in the forces also ladies too.
Also a good way to get out in the Z3 as its so nice to drive a real head turner.
I have had members of the branch asking me all day to bring it tomorrow.
As they want to see the Z roadster.

I'm sure the guys and girls will be pleased to meet your Zed

Sounds like a great idea, just remind them it's a sports car not a tank and don't let any of them play with the gun or rotate the turret.

Mike

It'll be interesting to hear their comments Harold and how many decide they want one! Have a great day mate.

Tony.

Was a good day Wednesday doing welfare workshop.
And got some comments about the Z3 all nice about the car,
But the micky taking about having a mid life crisis by the older members of
The branch was funny.
But welfare workshop was the most important part of the day.
Letting service man and woman and there families know what the Royal British Legion do is what matters.

Just tell them like I do! I'' m not in a crisis just in my childhood still and not my second childhood either! I love playing with toys and women, nothing wrong with that is there!! JIM

Great work to you and all within the Royal British Legion. A long Military history in my family from prior to WW1 until 2007, me included.
:thankyou:

Our branch of the legion have been doing welfare workshops for over 9 years.
I was in the armed forces too and now doing welfare workshops is giving something back as the Royal British Legion do a lot more today than what people think.
So our workshops are to inform and help where needed also working with the families

Banter is what makes the world go round and you have to be able to take it,
As well as giving it out.
But I had last laugh I drove home in the Z3

Totally agree Howard! Thing is they all want a ride or to drive it because mine's a RHD in a LHD world!! They are stunned by the difference of being in the passenger seat with no steering wheel!! JIM

Good info Harold. Thank you.

Tony.

I have had to go to a good friend wife funeral today lots of friends from many branchs from British legion in Lincolnshire came,so I took the Z3 out for run as was a lovely sunny morning.
Well the crack was great from old friends in car park when I arrived but we gave a lovely lady a good send off,
A good turnout with standards from branchs a guard of honour from many branchs.
But afterwards when we all went to the wake it was time relax and take stock.
My friends took the mick asking me how I fitted into the Z3 as I am 6 foot 3, quite a few ladies made me go red faced with there banter.
You only get one life, but good friend told me that he hadn't seen me smile and so up beat since my best friend died and that my best mate would be looking down on me have a good laugh watching me getting in and out of the Z3
He would be wanting the keys off me.
My lovely wife and I went out for lunch when I got home, we saw a lovely blue Z3 on R reg don't think he saw us,
Since buying my Z3 I have seen 4 others Z3's one black one green one silver and one blue and a lovely Z4 in silver.

Must have been quite a spectacular group paying their last respects to a fallen comrade! My condolences from another comrade! JIM

My daughter came home for mother's day yesterday.
The family had lovely day was nice to have all the family at home.
So I took my daughter home in the Z3 as she hadn't been in the Z and it gave the Z3
And good run out.
My daughter enjoyed the Z3 was surprised by how much room there is in the Z
I can say that ever time I start the Z3 it puts a smile on my face.
