Fair shout. I agree with Mansel (ish) in that you can only be the best of your era though some do transcend generations. Moss could be one, however, if he'd won 1 World title I'm not sure he'd be spoken of the same way, it's the mystique of finishing 2nd so often that makes that, IMHO

Agree about Mansell was a huge fan, of my generation definitely my top driver. I was at Silverstone in 91 & 92 and it was an amazing atmosphere I was at Club in 91 where Senna ran out of fuel and Mansell stopped to pick him, to say the Brazilian got some stick from the crowd is an understatement =))

The most annoying man since the dawn of time (quality player though). Just my view of course :)
Edit: can't read my own thread, clearly he's from over the Pond but just to be safe (he may have a British long lost aunt) he stays in.
