Just lost several ridge tiles,a gutter and flashing from around the main bedroom window. The wind is now blowing rain in around the window. Glad the zed is tucked up in the garage!

Keep your head down and keep safe.

It's terrible here at the moment :p
I'm staying indoors :(
It's very windy :(
The rain has just stopped ;)

Quite a lot of similar damage to houses nearby and one has had an upstairs window completely blown out. Dustbins all over the place! Now part of our fence has been blown down and wrecked.

Yes it's the same here ....... :p
I thought the worst weather was meant to be between 1-2 today , but it's getting worse here :(

Winds changed direction here and is gusting but i think the direction is saving us an issues but its with us till 6 then we have an ice warning in place!

I saw a leaf being blown around earlier, guess us southern softies don't know what it is like to live in the frozen North.:)

Bet you nearly spilt your Pimms.=))=))=))

Was behind an artic earlier as it got blown on its side, fortunately missing crushing on coming cars, he'd been crawling along a few miles first obviously very nervous!

Lucky, very lucky!

It's been awful at work. Just pure dangerous. Glad to be home.

White knuckle stuff, eh ?

Been watching all day the ferries having to be put on berth's by tug's.
Dover harbour board must be charging P&O a fortune.

Sounds like we have gotten away very lightly indeed although there has been tragedy not too far away. Just a few fence panels blown out at a few houses around us.
Have always kept our fences with gaps in rather than solid even after we've replaced small sections. The rest has been up 30 years so is lasting well. Let's the wind blows right through removing strain when it's bad like this.
Did put my Z4 in the garage out of the way during the day though.

Surely you would be entirely within your rights to stop when it gets like this Dave. Might be home a day later but home safely. If there is any risk of going over its time to stop. I'm sure the company insurers and truck insurance would accept your judgement. I would have thought a claim for late delivery under force mejeure would be better than for a wrecked truck or worse.

Approaching a roundabout this morning in rural Belfast and a huge tree had just fallen across the full width of the road - no human casualties - a parked BMW Mini got hit though - a lucky escape for motorists as the road approaching the junction is normally very busy!

The X1double decker bus that travels the A47, tipped over this morning just outside Wisbech. Also have seen that at least 4 lorries have tipped over. Our village has been covered in paper as everyone's recycling bins fell over. It seems to have calmed down a lot now.
