Just curious - why was this car taken off the road? Almost everything looks in great nick.
 
I’m one of those passionate Z3 owners who benefits and am most grateful -
but I can’t get my head around what the owner of this “little beauty” was thinking.
 
Bless them, they’ve made the ultimate sacrifice so that others who might not want a clean 1.9 auto may have the parts when their wing mirrors fall off.

The thought of trying to get £2000 for a 1.9 Z3 auto after I've fought it to the death fixing it fills me with dread.

Sod that. You can almost double that selling it in bits.

'Profit is more reasonable than justice'.
 
Your comment makes sense if it’s the owner who is realizing mark up when sold in bits.
