i woke up early, and what a lovely day,got in the zed, we got the top down and went to the bakewell tart shop and had a brekky, not the cheapest but nice, then off through to longnor, then towards the royal cottage, winkle, went along the quiet lane through macclesfield wood, all on traffic free back lanes, last stop at the jug and glass for a cuppa then home, driving just because we can

Glad you had a good day @madleemark :p

We were up that neck of the woods this afternoon, we'll have to meet up one day;)

Sounds like you had a great day out in the sunshine
"driving just because we can " and that's how it should be enjoyed .
I think we should all start posting the day/night before we're thinking of going for a run out so more of us can meet up :).

That'll need a bit of planning Steve ;)

Sounds like a good enjoyable relaxing day!

Sometimes impromptu, off the cuff drive outs are the best. If the chance is there take it. Every time.

Tony.

i have done plenty of group ride outs on motorbikes in the past, tho i tend to ride alone nowadays, but i have never had a group ride in cars, it sounds like fun, and would imagine there is an infectious enthusiasam among z owners, tho i do like the just get off and go, spur of the moment thing, i feel i may be missing the buzz a group of fellow z nuts have, i think that makes sense.
i did enjoy my drive on sunday, and do like bakewell, theres plenty of lanes to get away from the traffic on the main roads, and places to stop and watch the grass grow, see a lovely view etc, and as we all know a bit of sun with the top down is great fun
