Useful read and timely as I'm just refurbing my braking system with calipers, pipes, hoses, discs and pads. Not got round to flushing the system and refilling yet. Any recommendations for a decent brake bleeder?

Lots of auto bleeders out there, I have one but find it a phaf and like doing it the old fashioned way. I have just ordered these speed bleeder valves as a trial, no need to open and close , just open and pump. We'll see if they work.🤔

Make sure if you are flushing you don't dry drain the system or you will have a bugger's muddle trying to bleed the ABS pump.

I've been concerned about that as I forgot to put the brake half way down before I took them apart. As car top is covered and with stuff on it I haven't even looked to see if there's any left in the reservoir. Almost don't want to look. I don't think that much has come out. Had rubber glove fingers over the ends.
