Thanks guys for the update and replies, having looked at both the Hel & Goodridge websites there are pennies between them in the SS range (around £120 a set), admittedly I was swayed to the Hel ones as they offered more choice in colours, transparent blue to go with my Topaz Blue. Will shop around a little more to see if other sites offer them cheaper (looks £80 is more realistic). I'm not fitting them, so the adding washer issue is a little concerning, would the Hel ones be the same??

With regards to the bleed nipples is this a job that needs doing when replacing hoses? likewise the size @roadvoyager1 mentions would these be the same size for my 2.0??

I have booked the Z in for the works in a couple of weeks time so will carry on shopping

Brakes and disc replacement will be a next winters SORN job.

I have never fitted them but my M came with them on...

The M hadn't really been used in 2 years (500 miles max).... I got the M home and then drove it "properly" over snake and wood head passes.... all hoses split, drive covered in brake fluid. I wouldn't have them again

There's another option which is if you want to do it on a budget. You can buy a reel of braded hose and the tool to make the fittings this will come to sub £100 I have done this in the past but fitted the Goodrich because of the label :)

While your there you might as well do the clutch hose too seeing as its fed off the same reservoir.

@Lee thanks for the info on the clutch hose  I will have a look on the HEL & Goodridge sites as you say seems sensible to do at the same time.

The hoses arrived late yesterday and being fitted today. I went for the goodridge ones in the end as they had to be made to order and they could make them within 3 days. Got the SS ones and blue finish to match the Z, paid a small premium to get them in time but all in around £120. Will post up some pics when the car is returned later today.

Those look too nice to go under a car, best put them on display in your living room, I think! JIM
