Great pictures, but I think I might need to mod the car first, before a trip through Wales =))

Great photos, looked like a top day out

Doesn't rain every day then, only on a day with a "Y" in it?;) Had a holiday in North Wales before we got married and went to the Radio 1 road show (Peter Powell and Paul Burnett) there in Colwyn Bay, it rained as we got there and was beautiful then all week. We really should go back again.

Tony.

It didn't rain every day, I'm calling these pics "Save the whales", or should that be Wales =))

HOT TUB CARNO..webp

When we got out of the tub we walked down to the pub for dinner and decided to do a run up to Conwy the next day. We had a great day out, empty roads, a bit of drizzle but all in all a great start to the week.

Glad you walked. ( judging by the pictures in the jacuzzi) ..........but, also hope you actually put clothes on before walking to the pub=))

I have some more pics to load but I'm having connectivity problems here in Bahrain so I'll have to load them when I get home, and yes @Chaz Ricorn it is the Caban Coch dam and very impressive it is too, 122ft high and 122ft thick at the base, holding back 8 billion gallons of fresh water which has a total surface area of just over 500 acres.

Don't be deceived by the pictures, I don't drink sparkling wines so just had a few sips from the glass and Jill saw off the rest of the bottle. Once we got to the pub I had a couple of beers though and yes, we both got dressed before our venture to the village. I've been banned from a lot of places in my 62yrs but I don't want to be banned from visiting Wales which must be one of the most scenic countries any roadster driver could possibly visit

Now you see why I moved here. Try it again in summer, if we get one this year, that is.

Always love going to Wales. In fact my plan (our plan) is to up sticks from my hometown and move there. Was supposed to be this year but caring for an aged relative has placed that on hold.

When we do move its very likely to be Carmarthen way. We fell for a place called Llansteffan. Part of a great country and people.

With regard to the weather. There is no such thing as bad weather. Its bad clothing that gets you.

Anyway - wicked pics.

Dave
