There is a BMW socket that fits in there, but seems quite unusual. Other say it is for a standard wheel bolt (but it is too long).

I'll take a piccy of mine tomorrow. But 2 locking keys on mine. Even quickfit commented the othe day whilst changing my wheels that it was unusual. Blimey we are a bit sad at times lol..=))
 
Do they both have the same number stamped on them? May have been used one for winter and one for summer wheels?? JIM

Me too, even have the 10mm socket, one or two of the tools have started showing some signs of age so I will be freshening them up at the weekend.

Mine does too.
I think that's there to remove the plastic engine cover so you can change the plugs, I recall those nuts under the plastic daps were 10mm.
