My recently purchased Zed doesn't have a boot light fitted, and where the light would have been fitted the wiring to it has been removed.
I've had a look at the Z3 wiring diagram on here, clearish to understand but what i can't see when i look in the boot is where the original wiring from the lamp would have gone to. I can see the wiring from the switch in the boot catch (Continuity all good into the boot) but then the 2 wires disappear into the main loom with no obvious break out as to where the lamp wire would plug in......advice please?
There is in my boot anyway a 3 pin plug but with only 2 wires going to it (No voltage) and another plug that's been cut also no voltage. The wire colours going to these do not match the wires running in from the boot lid.
I can make up my own connections from a live but it would be nice to wire up everything to how it was originally
