Bonnet Logo Question.....

I recently had my bonnet (see....you have me saying it instead of 'hood') painted. They removed the old BMW logo and I told them not to replace it as I was going to get a new one. When going on e-bay, I noticed they were selling a set of grommets for it ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Hood-Em...8&pid=100005&rk=1&rkt=6&sd=281387616923&rt=nc) (How long is THAT code?)
I have a '96 1.9L. Do I need these also.?

I wouldn't if you buy a new emblem it has double sided tape on the back the holes are just a guide to help you line it up

As @paul.s said the badge comes with two pins to help alignment and double sided tape to stay in place. These pins slide into those rubber grommets that are already located in the bonnet and are a tight fit.

A new badge will be fine @FRANKIE

Just make sure there are 2 grommets still in your bonnet Frankie, it's possible that when they removed the badge one or both could have pulled out. This did happen when I took my original badge off last year.
