Bit far apart I think mate and we're in the saab! . But I have to give it some praise, it's done 619 miles today on less than a tank of diesel. Averaged 54mpg and never missed a beat. Only problem was I couldn't get the bloody roof down!

That's what's known in Germany as a French bed. We stayed in a small Gast haus and the lady told us the room had a French bed and apologized. I got all excited only to find out it was a double bed just like at home not the two separate beds that make one in all the other rooms. JIM

Dave. Every time i come to the Alps i want to come back. Its just amazing roads scenery and usually really nice people. Think plans for next year might change again lol
