Not got refund yet given it till Friday as my final dead line. Body kit was new front end to replace the bumper it's deeper and different shape vents. The side skirts again different shape and rear end has a pattern like sharks gills. Both are in fiberglass. My Zed being preface lift narrow body could not have the rear bumper. Go on mad motors web site you can see the kits but that's it it would seam cause you sure won't get it.

If i am being honest you have a lovely Zed!!! Get a refund!! There are much better mods you can do to your bumper for sure!! My suggestion would be do what some others have done either a M Bumper or add an extra lip that looks cool :thumbsup: @Rha @gooka @g8jka @Sean d maybe able to post some pics:thumbsup:

I think that's the way I'm going get my money back and buy 2 new skirts from BMW it will save me £200 for some thing else.
I guess you don't like the kit.

A bit too OTT for my liking, :)

Yes not every one's choice I know and thinking on a bit now it may be a blessing in disguise the kit not turning up as I think keeping it standard and bringing it right up together will at some point make reselling it easier. I have no intention of selling it though after the blood sweat tears and money I've put into her.

@Gremlin awesome decision mate :thumbsup:
Can't wait to see your Zed looking amazing
Does this mean you are gonna miss my event :(

Throw her back together and come for the parade lap :p

There is nothing I'd like better at the moment, when I bought this car I bought it with the intention of adding a few mods then I found the Zroadsters club and thought great I now have some thing I can take an interest in and go to some meets and make new friends. Sadly the meets have not happened yet because the car I bought I felt was not up to the standard of the cars I was looking at with in the club, and to be honest if I'd realised I'd been sold a bit of a pup I'd not have bought it. But getting to chat to the members in the club has been good It's a great place to belong with members who have made me feel welcome and also has been a great help with advice.
So yes I'd love to do some meets and meet the people I chat with and next season that will happen thanks for invite and hope silverstone goes great for all.

Hi Gremlin, wanted to go down the same route as you when I first got my Z3 but a few friends persuaded me that the z3 was allready a damn fine looking sportster straight out the box and once you've added a subtle few bits to the front it starts to turn heads and get nice comments. Just look at what @gookah and son @g8jka have done, their Zs look real nice with just a few small changes to the body. You can add bits as you go along that won't break the bank all at once. I started off adding the (OEM) Z3 boot spoiler( not to everyone's taste) from USA and most didn't like it because it makes a rather big statement on the rear, however after 3or so years its became a popular talking point and most remember the car after seeing it even though it's probably one of a very few that's in this country. Then I decided to look at front lower grill, ended up making my own with a piece of S/S mesh from Halfords, added some DRLs, eyebrows and Xcite headlights, finished off with a piece of under bumper rubber spoiler front and rear along with chrome rear stoneguards. All bought over the last few years so keeping the cost down at any one time. Here's a couple of pics save you trying to find then elsewhere.

Remember it's your Z and whatever mods you decide to make it'll be what you like, we're all differant in what we like car wise so good luck and don't get depressed just cause you've been let down by whoever. Go finish it and gets some smiles for miles. :happy::happy::happy:

RHA!Roy.:thumbsup:

Be honest, it'll never be finished. There's always a bit more to do somewhere. I guess that's one of the things I like about mine, apart from the looks, the sound, getting the roof down and grinning (yes, the roof does come down, even in Wales).
This is true.

One of the things you have to watch out for with these aftermarket kits are that there is often problems with them being a straight bolt on. Most of the time you need to do some cutting and shaving to get them fit right. I have only seen a couple of these aftermarket kits on zeds, one on Fast and Furious 2 and one on @bertiejaffa's ///M. If they are done properly then they can look good.

Lots of others prefer small and subtle mods which are sometimes hard to spot, but give that individual feel to your zed. I have a Rieger front lip and the Aero rear bumper along with lots of other mods but it still looks relatively OEM. Once you start though, you will always be finding more and more mods and things you want to do.

It's all part of owning a zed, but the most important part is to get it out on the road, which you have missed out on over the last few months :(
