Bo***cks !!!!!

Great result

Good to hear it

That is so good to hear. You must be very relieved.
Don’t forget we will want to see lots of pics of your progress

@Mazza glad to hear that discussions have come to a good conclusion. All parts a easily available and nothing too technical to replace. Good luck with the rebuild.

Great news. Car could end up being better than was?

Hopefully it wont be any worse !!=))

As I need to replace the N/S headlight anyway, and if I can find a pair, might upgrade the headlights to the Angel Eye version

Good news.. hope it all works out. Just be careful regarding lighting upgrades as my local mot guy said that some upgrades are now mot failures. @t-tony might tell us all some more. Tony ?

Only after market HID kits fall foul of the rules. Halos are not an issue, neither are led position light (sidelight) bulbs. Sadly no one told the guy i work with.

Tony.

Thank you Tony.

He was on about the headlights having BS EN mark too. Which puzzled me as some do and some don’t.

I asked about the halo fogs I wanted to fit and he advised against it. Has me puzzled.

Read the manual on line.

Tony.

Just heard from the garage :)
they will deliver the car back to me tomorrow.

As its going to be off the road for a while I have completed the SORN as from 1st Nov.

In case anyone is interested, I will take pictures and start a new thread with details and progress.
As I haven’t dismantled these parts before, it will definitely be from a novices point of view!!!
Getting the garage tidied this afternoon so its ready for action

Glad to hear that your getting it back and can start on the work.

Looking forward to the new thread and lots of photos!
