Hi Beamer lovers

Just bought ticket for BMW ZEDfest 18. This will be my first year of meetings, looking forward to meeting up with fellow Z3 owners. Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding somewhere to stay near the fest. B&B, camping etc would be much appreciated. Also looking to meet up with people in the North Norfolk coast area for a meet etc.

I don't tend to stay over but I know meetups usually happen the night before at a local hotel. Can't remember who stayed over this year, but I'm sure someone like @Grumps may be able to remember some who did....

Quite a large group have been using The Link hotel, Loughborough for a number of years. It’s only 5 mins away. A dinner gathering is usually organised and last year the group was large enough for the hotel to put us in a private room. I booked a few weeks ago and the rate was £84 for a double room with breakfast.

Hi Jeff, you can camp at the ZedFest site mate, only proviso is that you have to be up bright and early to clear the field for the cars ( damn nuisance if you ask me =))) but that's what we all go for .
PM Neil at @Mac27040 for details. Hope to meet you there !:)

Tony

depending on the turn out the camping area is in the front paddock club field for the event.

I have a question;

Is it acceptable to bring stuff to Z Fest to sell? I have a few bits left over from my build that I would like to part with, that may be worth a few bob....for instance I have a beige hard tonneux (don't know how you spell it) cover, which I know are hard to come by, that I no longer need (in fact I have never used it....but it has been used by previous owners)

I also have the instrument binnacle with the clocks (but without the circuit board), left and right door cards (with tweeters) a full set of inner wheel arch protectors, ash tray with surround and odds and sods of plastic handles and trim.

Please let me know if you are interested (particularly on the wheel arch plastic, as I probably wouldn't be able to bring them anyway....too big)

Anyway if it is not the "done thing" just let me know...I wouldn't want to break any protocol.

Totally fine I think. In fact I believe there was a thread running with stuff offered last year

I usually have some items for sale at ZedFest Sir P. as do other members. I beleive one member had a whole Z3 there last year.

Tony.

How much are you asking for the door cards?
